The Vivo S17 smartphone series, the company's next in the S
lineup, will be released in China in the third quarter of 2023. The lineup,
which is believed to include the Vivo S17, Vivo S17e, and Vivo S17 Pro
handsets, is slated to launch in India later, although under a different name,
mostly the Vivo V29 series.
The Vivo S17 has appeared on the 3C certification website
ahead of its introduction, revealing the charging specifics of the next model.
Support for fast charging on the Vivo S17
- The Vivo S17 smartphone, model number V2283A, was discovered on the 3C certification website.
- The China Compulsory Certificate (CCC; often known as 3C) is a safety certificate required for goods retailing in China.
- The Vivo S17 smartphone is now available on the website, along with its chargers, which have the model numbers V8037L0A0-CN, V8037L0B0-CN, or V8037L0D0-CN.
- These chargers have 10W (5V/2A), 18W (9V/2A), and 80W (11V/7.3A) ratings. As a result, the Vivo S17 will benefit from the 80W rapid charging mechanism.
- This indicates that the Vivo S17 smartphone will have faster charging capabilities. The Vivo S16 smartphone from the previous version supports 66W fast charging.
Specifications for the Vivo S17 (to be expected)
- Display: The new generation series Vivo S is rumoured to include a 1.5K OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
